My mum gave me my first bottle of Chanel perfume a few years ago and since then I have an appreciation for fine fragrance. I believe every woman should wear a good perfume and I am not talking about those celebrity scents that you get at the drug store. I find fragrances to be an extension of one’s style and personality.
I am most definitely a Chanel girl so my favorite scent is Chanel No. 5 Eau Premier; this fragrance is lighter than the classic no.5 making it great for everyday use.
If you are looking for a new scent I recommend trying Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior and Gucci as they have amazing fragrances. I know these are a little pricey, but trust me it’s better to invest in a long lasting scent rather that a cheap bottle that will have you back at the store in no time. After all you deserve to smell good so why not treat yourself!

A cape is used to describe any sleeveless outer garment.Capes were very common in Medieval Europe and they have since returned as a fashion item.
I particularly love a wool cape with a wide belt on the waste to create some shape.Capes look great with opaque tights or skinny jeans,stay away from any wide leg pants.For work I would suggest pairing it with a pencil skirt and minimal jewellery.
So ladies, the next time you are shopping for coats try the trendy cape coat.They are a sure way to look chic in cool weather.

Did you know that trench coats were initially adapted for use by men during the world war hence the name trench.They have since been associated with fashion and I think they are one of the things every woman should have.
The simplest way to wear trench coats is over jeans and a t-shirt.However if you are short like I am stay away from the long ones as they will make you look shorter.
Trench coats also look great with sheath dresses and pencil skirts.To look Chic, try a pencil skirt , dressy blouse with a trench coat that falls to the hem of the skirt.Dont forget heels to complete the look.
